During pre-production, I described Like You as a murky watercolor memory - dreamy and timeless - it could be both the 1980s or yesterday.

Alberto and I planned to achieve the aesthetic with a 1.65:1 aspect ratio- the standard of the Super16 format - and diffusing the lenses to emulate the shadow/highlight roll off of 16mm Kodak VISION3 500T Color Negative 5129 Film. We hope the final color grade of Like You matches the look of the previous grade with the distinctive saturation and texture of 16mm 500T 5129 often pushed one stop and two stops in select scenes.
